Did 75% of dogs go the wrong way at AKC Nationals?

Watch the replay to discover...

. . . how judges everywhere are using "choices" in their course designs to create more than one possible path for the dog. Top handlers know which path is faster and this gives them a decisive edge against handlers who don't know, especially where these choices appear most often -- at big events.

In this replay, we take a look at a wrap choice from the 2017 American Kennel Club National Agility Championship Challengers round, where only the winner will advance to the Finals. We use slow motion and a timer to answer these questions:

  • which choice is faster?
  • is there a difference for larger vs smaller dogs?
  • how do we know which choice is faster before we run it?
  • is it ever okay to take the slower choice?
  • how do we prepare for a championship event?

This is a prime example of the kind of run where you want to know the fastest path and you want to have the skills to execute it.
