In the video below, Bad Dog Agility training partner Lori and her 11 month old Border Collie Amp run a sequence that emphasizes 270s. Starting with a 270 to the backside for jump #1 allows you to start the exercise without a stay or helper to hold your dog.
Focus on moving to the next obstacle as soon as your dog is committed to the 270. Some dogs may flank you when going from jump #1 to jump #2; if this happens, you can reward at your side after jump #1, and make sure that you are not blocking your dog’s view of jump #2 as they complete the 270 over jump #1.
